Welcome
My name is Jesi and I have a lot of experience creating different things. This page is full of examples of my work from many different categories. This is a picture I took of a flower outside of the state capitol building in Sacramento, in 2013.
If you’re interested in working with me, send me a message! I’d be happy to provide more examples or discuss a new project!

Lincolnwood Library
Lincolnwood Public Library District was one of the first websites I had the pleasure to build. I was their personal point of contact throughout the project. After the kickoff meeting, I worked on the style tile, wireframes, low- and high-fidelity mockups (shown), and once the design was approved, I implemented a custom WordPress theme for both the public-facing website and an intranet for the librarians.
I’ve built many sites since then and will have a gallery set up sometime soon to show off my web projects.

Star Breathers
Software: Procreate, Premiere Pro, Photoshop (for thumbnail)
Original artwork process video using Procreate’s Time-lapse replay and Premiere Pro.
I have a dozen “Chill Paints” up on my channel, check them out!
All of the songs I use are from No Copyright Sounds, and the music is great. Worth a listen even if you don’t watch the art. 🙂
Faber-Castell Ad
My midterm project in Advanced Photoshop at the Art Institute of California – Sacramento. The goal was to recreate an advertisement of our choice using original images. I chose Faber-Castell because their ads at the time were fantastic. The shark is from their True Colours campaign (which you can read about here). I chose blue because it is my favorite color.

Custom Computer Cases
My husband is a huge Borderlands fan and wanted a loot chest themed computer case.
My niece is a Steven Universe fan, so for Christmas a few years ago, my sister commissioned a custom case as well.
After priming each piece, I painted each piece with acrylic paint. I also used a sharpie on the BL case and a white gel pen to add the galaxy aesthetic to the SU case.
The side of my niece’s case says “I am made of LOVE and it’s STRONGER than YOU” – a wonderful sentiment in these trying times. <3

3D Art: Jellyfish
I sculpted a jellyfish top from clay, created a silicone mold, and used UV resin to create transparent jellyfish tops of several colors, in two different sizes.
Then, I strung up many different types of beads, including glass, wood, gemstone, and shells.
I created bubbly tentacles with resin.
These are labor intensive and didn’t sell, but were fun to make. The small ones are great as a rearview decoration.

Lennon
A painting of my oldest son in his marching band uniform. He was just promoted to SGT as a Cav Scount in the Army, so I plan on doing another of him in his military uniform.
2021, Acrylic on canvas.

Inktober 2020 day 1: Fish
Pencil art is my longest-running art skill because of its low cost and ease of access. My favorite pencils are Zebra m301 0.5 mechanical pencils. My favorite pens are Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens with India Ink.
Watch me paint it in Procreate here >>

Wisp
Another Inktober (not sure if it’s also from 2020).
This one is watercolor + ink (both white and black)

“Pretty Good, for a Girl”
I play guitar and have for 20+ years! The video to the right is me playing Landing in London by Three Doors Down.
“So my fingers are really starting to hurt” because I’d just played it like 10 times (and yes, recording each one). I didn’t have a professional setup at all, so sound isn’t great (might have to strain to hear me).
Video is from 2016 and I do plan on redoing it!
