My sweet little cuttlefish! I love the color patterns on cuttlefish, and when I spotted this little thumbnail image on a youtube video one day, I had to re-create it. My rendition is a little more plump than the reference picture that inspired this video.
Honestly I think you can tell it’s the same cuttlefish. What do you think? And yes, their little tentacle faces very much remind me of Abe’s Odyssey (great game if you’ve never played).
Main critique for myself for this piece, is the outline stops halfway. But, I just escaped the Adobe subscription trap; so, little boy will remain “unfinished” for now.
