This one is not a digital painting, but rather an overhead view of a watercolor piece I created. This was created prior to Star Breathers, and honestly (obviously?) was part of the same inspiration or idea. I love space and whales, what can I say.
Technically mixed media, because I used Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens as well as watercolor, and a white gel pen for the stars.
I can’t seem to find a full shot of the finished piece (which is also missing in the video, actually). So it does feel a bit janky (hindsight; lessons learned, etc.).
I do love the song, and if you couldn’t tell, I really appreciate No Copyright Sounds for all of the music they publish from so many talented artists.
